How to identify the age of a product
Royal Copenhagen porcelain from the period 1936-1984 can be dated by the position of dashes either above or below the letters. For example, a dash above “R” in the word “ROYAL” shows the year 1935.
Since 1985, a combination of simultaneous dashes has been used.
